BENGALURU: A three-year-old Singapore-based startup called nuTonomy has stolen the thunder from the likes of Google and Apple, Ford and General Motors, Uber and Lyft, by launching the world's first self-driving taxi service last week.
Founded by two Massachusetts Institute of Technology researchers, Karl Iagnemma and Emilio Frazzoli, the transportation and automotive technology firm has 50 PhD scholars and experienced scientists.
